Selecting your curtains is one of the most significant home investments you will make.

 

Curtains should always have doubled hems with a 100mm base hem and 35 mm side hems, they also should be at least 2 times fullness in fabric, for a full curtain look 2.5 fullness is ideal.

• I always use a good quality lining, not only does this provide great insulation but it will help to protect your curtains from sun damage

• When choosing your drapery fabric you should be aware that fabrics will perform differently

• 100% polyester fabrics will flare slightly at the bottom.

• Linen, Cotton, Rayon or Viscose may crease more than a poly combination.

• Silk cannot be guaranteed against fading as it is a natural product.
